In this guide, we will show you How to be Invincible in Combat in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How To Be Invincible In Combat

To make this ability happens, you must have a specific setup. It might not be a setup optimized for damage, but only a proof of concept of the invincibility. You will need to get a certain class to level 20 to get the talent art.

You will need to have the Unlimited Sword art unlocked. This is the key part of the strategy as it grants invincibility for Noah for just a bit after activating it.

It is not very long at all, but it does indeed Grant this buff, and while Noah has this, he will not take any damage or have anything affect him. This can be run in any class if you want, but it requires you to be either a Signifier with Noah or Kevin’s class to get access to signifier master Arts.

One of the Noah’s Master Arts is the Resonant Flag. This art grants all current Buffs to all allies and if you’re playing the signature class just have it as one of the arts.

This is essentially the Crux of the strategy where you can pass invincibility to the entire party.

However, there are a couple of problems that might arise from this.

  • Firstly, the unlimited sword has a cooldown of 10. This means that normally it would take a pretty long time to get to this.
  • Secondly, activating it will replace all of your art and you wouldn’t see the resonant flag on your art list.
  • Thirdly, invincibility lasts only around 5-10 seconds

Fortunately, there is a solution to all of these issues. What you will need to use is a Signal Defer with Glittering Melody as their talent art.

This powerful ability can pause all buff timers on all allies essentially granting stasis on any buff currently active to keep it active as long as the stasis lasts. The other Arch you need is Aureole, Resonant Flag, and Heal Harmony.

On the other side, you will need the Advanced Cooldown to Grant a field Effect to charge the Talon art faster.

These are the two characters that matter the most, Noah and the Signifier who can be anyone. The other four characters should not be a tank class anywhere in the lineup.

The next vital thing that you want is Capable Hands. This will fill the talent gauge to 100% when maxed out at the start of the battle and can be gotten from the flash fencer class.

This means you can start any battle with Noah instantly and get invincibility.

You can do the same way with your Signifier and they can start the battle with their stasis ability. It will allow you to activate Noah’s invincibility, swap immediately to your Signifier to instantly apply stasis.

The other two skills that you will need are Strengthening Gambit which extends the duration of buff effects issued by self by 50%, and Protector’s Pride to boost recharge speed by 50% when non-Defenders are targeted.

In the accessory department, you need to run a similar effect to boost recharge further. This might be pretty strong to reduce cooldowns in a lineup with zero Defenders.

Sena has the same thing and you can get the talent art back up sooner and all other Arts will recharge faster.

The Fraternal Badge will boost recharge speed by 50% when non-Defenders are targeted.
