There are a couple of different methods you can try to increase the FPS in Valorant. Some may work better than others. Some may not work at all. Boost Valorant FPS in the Game’s Graphics Settings

You can easily perform a few tweaks in Valorant’s graphics settings panel and see if it will boost the number of FPS you’re getting. Using the settings we recommend below may make your Valorant gameplay look a bit worse but it will at least look much smoother thanks to the higher FPS. Here’s what you have to do.

Open the settings in Valorant and go to the Graphics Quality settings. From there, copy the following settings:

  • Material Quality: Mid or Low
  • Texture Quality: Mid or Low
  • Detail Quality: Mid or Low
  • UI Quality: Mid
  • Vignette: Off
  • VSync: Off
  • Anti-Aliasing: None
  • Anisotropic Filtering: 1x
  • Improve Clarity: Off
  • Experimental Sharpening: Off
  • Bloom: Off
  • Distortion: Off
  • Cast Shadows: Off

There are only two things that you need to focus on inside this settings tab in Valorant. This includes turning OFF the “Show Mature Content” features. Also, turn OFF the “Show Blood” and the “Show Corpses” features as well.

Boost FPS in Valorant in Your PC Settings

The other way to boost Valorant FPS is to do it through your computer graphics settings. Here’s what you need to do to get a great FPS boost:

Power Options

Step 1: Go to “Control Panel” on your PC.

Step 2: Click on “Power Options” and go to “Create a power plan”.

Step 3: Then, set your power plan to “High Performance” and you’re done.

Give Valorant High Priority in Task Manager

Step 1: Launch Valorant and open your Task Manager.

Step 2: Find Valorant, right-click on it, and click on “Set priority”.

Step 3: Select “High” and click on “Change priority”.
