Valorant: Critical Error | How to Fix It
There are two simple methods to solve this problem.
First method
Open your Run command prompt by simply pressing the Windows key + R, and then search “services.msc”, then press OK.

On the new window, you can see all your windows services. Try to locate VGC and open it by double-click on it.

On the next window, you have to stop the service.

Once it’s stopped, you have to change the Startup type from Manual to Automatic, and then click on Start.

Once you change these settings, don’t forget to apply the changes. Then close all the settings windows.
The next step is to restart your PC, and then try to access Valorant.
If this method doesn’t work for you, simply try the second method.
Second Method
Open your Local Drive C and then click to open Riot Games folder, and then go to Valorant.

Follow the exact folders that you have to open:
This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Riot Games > VALORANT > live > ShooterGame > Binaries > Win64
In the last folder “Win64” you will see a lot of DLL files, but you have to locate the setup file.

Right-click on it then click properties. On the new window select Compatibility and then tick to enable the option “Run the program as an administrator” and “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and select Windows 8.
Apply your changed settings and restart your PC.

Once you restart your PC, you can run Valorant.
