The Civic Duty quest is one of the beginning quests in the game that you can obtain through one of the factions. You will need to collect an item that can be found on both maps, Bright Sands or Crescent Falls.

This is one of the beginning quests in the game, you will be able to obtain the quest through the ICA faction, they will require you to deliver them 1 Compound Sheet in order to complete the quest and continue with Part 2.
The item that you will be looking for can be found in structures and containers. They are more common to be found around structures, rather than containers.
The item looks like some bronze metal sheets that are stacked on top of each other.
This item can be found most commonly in the Science Campus. If you land somewhere south on the map. Make your way towards the Science Campus where you will find a few Compound Sheets for your quest.
