However, even the pro players do some mistakes without knowing. We prepared some mistakes for you that you have to avoid even as a beginner, and will make you a better player!
In this guide, we will show you 5 Mistakes You Need to Avoid in The Cycle: Frontier!
The Cycle Frontier: 5 Mistakes You Need to Avoid
Many players got caught up with not knowing which items to sell and which one to keep. Every item has its own purpose in the game and is needed for some reason. There are only three reasons to sell items: when you need K marks, faction points, or inventory space.
You have to know to prioritize which items to sell first, and those are the items that you can buy at the space station, guns you don’t plan to use, and ammo for weapon types that you don’t play very much.
Other items that you have to sell are any resources that you have multiple stacks of. If you find some items more often, don’t need to keep more than 2 stacks in your inventory. Those are mostly the items for crafting or some later mission.
If you need more K marks and faction points, sell high-tier items that you are not going to use in the late game.
Running out of Stamina
This is one of the worst things that you can do in a drop. When your stamina is fully depleted you can’t jump or swing your knife, and you breathe heavily which is easily heard if you’re trying to hide from an enemy.
You can’t even run, and the movement is even slower than your walking speed.
We have some tips for you to manage your stamina better.
- Jump only when necessary
- Learn the areas where you can climb and rest
A very important thing that many players forget that exist in the game. After a few raids, you should head to your workbench and repair your armor. It is a crucial role in protecting you from penetration damage, especially when getting attacked by players with high penny late-game weaponry.
Avoid big money loot runs
Players make a big mistake not focusing on their efforts and what is really going to help them to progress in the game. You don’t progress by making money from big money loot runs.
Due to The Cycle: Frontier, matchmaking with a bucket system places you with players that have a similar loot value that they extract. If you are extracting with high loot values every raid, you are going to be matched with some of the best players in the game.
This is increasingly punishing if you are not dropping in and focusing specifically on questing for the factions.
Knowing when is the time to extract
The Cycle: Frontier has server times up to six hours. You can loot as long as you desire, but the truth is the longer time you spend on the planet the higher chance you will not extract.
If you have mission items that are hard to obtain or you’ve completed one of your missions, get out. It’s a positive drop when you score a rare resource on the way to one of your objectives that you never found before in your drops or an item that you rarely come across.
There’s no need to stay in extra time to try to complete as much as possible in one drop.
