The way that you can set up your password on your Steam Deck is pretty simple.
Click on the Steam Button and then go to settings.

Under settings, choose the Security from the menu on the left side of the screen.

On this menu, you can put your password and obviously, there are a few options that you can choose.
- On System wake and power up
- Before showing login screen
- When switching to desktop mode
You can enable each of the given options and then put the password (PIN) that you want. You can use only a total of 6 numerical symbols for your password.
