Albacore Fishing Guide for Stardew Valley
The Albacore fish isn’t a rare fish and can be found during the evening from 6 AM to 11 AM during fall or 6 PM to 2 AM during winter. It can be found on the Eastern Docks of the Beach and there are plenty of fishes that you can easily catch there.
You can use the Albacore for normal fish recipes such as the Maki Rolls, Quality Fertilizer and Sashimi. It can also be used to create the Sailor Shirt by using the sewing machine.
The primary use of the Albacore, however, is during the Fish Stew quest where Gus asks the players to mail them an Albacore by the 26th of Winter which is a short period of time.
You will be rewarded with 400 Gold and 1 Friendship heart if you manage to complete the quest.
Most villagers however dislike the fish so you cannot use it as a gift or for matrimonial prospects in the game.
That’s it, now go ahead and catch an Albacore by heading to the above location!
