Sonic Frontiers is a highly anticipated 3D platformer that lets you play as Sonic the Hedgehog and explore the mysterious Starfall Island in search of the Chaos Emeralds. It is the first open-world Sonic game where you must solve puzzles to collect items and fight against various robot enemies.
As you progress through the game, you will encounter different bosses and enemies. One such enemy is the Strider which is one of the 18 Guardian bosses present in the game. Guardian bosses are one of the most difficult bosses and you will need to defeat them to obtain the Portal Gears required to enter Cyberspace. The Strider is a giant boss having four limbs with red rings floating between them
This guide will tell you how to defeat the Strider Guardian Boss in the game.
Strider Guardian Boss Fight – Sonic Frontiers
In order to find the Strider Guardian Boss, you will need to head over to the centre of Ares Island at the location shown above.
Once you reach there, the fight will begin and you will need to round around in circles to cover each ring.
Using your Power Boost ability, you will be able to leave a trail on every ring to destroy it and then move on to the next one.
You need to be careful as the Strider will throw rings at you while you are running through them.
After the colour of the ring changes from red to black, you will be able to run through them and once you have covered them, they will change into blue.
If you cover all the rings then they will change their colour to white and you will be able to move on to the next one.
The primary goal is to destroy the three rings that protect the core of the Strider.
After you have destroyed those three rings, you will be able to directly attack the core located on a platform in the centre.
This will destroy the entire structure causing the tower to collapse and resulting in the defeat of the Strider. As a reward for your efforts, you will receive one Portal Gear for your efforts which can be used to enter Cyberspace.
That’s it, now go ahead and defeat the Strider by running around its rings!
