How To Get More Stone And Ore
Stone and Ore are essential materials for creating new buildings. At the start of the game, you will be spending more stone and wood instead of ore, but as time goes on, you will improve and become better. Therefor, you need to start investing in some higher-quality materials for better builds.
To speed up the process of collecting stone and ore, you can head over to your pickaxe menu in the bottom of the screen and press the Collect Stone and Ore.
Once that has been collected, find an area filled with stone and ore and select it all with your mouse.
This is a short term method, whenever you want to boost a smaller number of stone and ore if you need to get a new building up.
A better and a more long-term way to get stone and ore is by constructing a Mine and a Quarry. To unlock these two, you need to head over to your town development tree and go to the Mining tab. Here unlock the Quarry and Mining skills to unlock the ability of obtaining extra materials.
Keep upgrading the mining skill tree to unlock higher tiers of mines and quarries which will allow you to get more and more materials in the long run.
And just like that, you can now start slapping a ton of quarries and mines in your settlement to begin obtaining Stone and Ore which helps with high-quality buildings.
