If you are looking to increase your chances of getting a heart then it is highly recommended that you team up with three other players on the same server as it can increase the drop rate percentage.
This will ensure that you have a higher possibility of getting hearts from enemies with a chance of getting 4-5 hearts per NPC. One of the best places to get hearts is the best final island covered in snow.
Another thing worth noting is that defeating bosses will give you a chance of earning 12-15 hearts which makes it lucrative to engage in those tough battles. Once you have collected enough hearts, you can visit the Valentine Shop to exchange them.
This shop is located near Fountain Plaza of Middle Town in the first sea area. It can be easily identified thanks to the large heart structure surrounding the NPC there.
Interact with the character there and you will be able to exchange these hearts to redeem items such as boosts, weapons and other special materials. The store will reset its inventory every hour so make sure to check it from time to time for fresh items.
