Overwatch 2 has recently came out and it has attracted a lot of people. The game is loaded with cool new features. Party status is a known feature for many players, in Overwatch 2, not many players realize that you can change the party status and make your party private, for you and your friends.

This guide will show you how to change your party privacy in Overwatch 2.

To start off, open up your game and get inside the main menu area. From there, press on the ESC button on the bottom right corner of the screen.

From here you want to head over to the Options menu and switch over to the Social tab.

Here is where you can mess around with all the chat commands, party settings, and anything related with extra people/parties.

Now, hover over the small menus under Groups. Here is where you can change your party privacy settings to either public or private. Public parties are parties where random people from the game can join and you can play games with them together.

Once your party has been set to private, only your friends or people that you invite can join the game.
