How To Enable Third-Person Mode in Modern Warfare 2

The third-person mode is an old-school mode from Modern Warfare 2 all the way back in the day, which is basically not new, but it is back in the newest Modern Warfare 2 2022.

There are a lot of people from the Call of Duty community that is looking for this mode, and there are already plenty of questions about how to play this mode.

The only way to play in this mode is through one of the designated game modes, but unfortunately, that game mode is not available yet in the beta version.

Right now, there are only 3 modes available:

  • Team Deathmatch Domination
  • Prisoner Rescue
  • Knockout

In MW2 you will be able to find a clearly defined playlist for using third-person mode. The playlist will contain “third-person” in the title, and playlists that don’t have third-person in their title won’t be able to play in third-person mode.

When these third-person modes are added to the beta version, the objectives will be the same as in traditional Call of Duty modes. The only thing that is changing is the camera view. Even when players are going to aim to shoot, the camera will snap to first-person for more accurate shooting.
