Madden 23: How to Boost FPS and Increase Performance
Windows optimization
First, you need to check if the Game Mode is activated.
To find this, just search for “Game Mode” in the search bar.

From the same menu, make sure that the Xbox Game Bar is deactivated, if it’s on might cause stuttering and crashing in some games.

From the Capture menu, also make sure that the Background Recording is Off, and the Recorded Audio is Off.

Another thing that is recommended is hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Search for Graphics settings, and make sure it is switched On.
For this setting, you need an Nvidia card 1000 series or more recent. It will help a lot with bottlenecks which can make a boost of 2-5%, and also you can expect less stuttering when you are using that.

Another thing which is really important is your driver. Make sure that you have the latest driver from AMD and Nvidia, even intel if you have an integrated GPU on your processor.
For example, for AMD just click on “Check Updates” and it will show you if you have the latest one installed.
It is the same way for Nvidia.

Also, another thing that can be set for Nvidia and AMD is the Image Killing. From AMD it is called Super Resolution and for Nvidia it is NIS Dedicated Video.
Make sure that this setting is enabled because it will slightly increase your FPS.

If you are playing on a laptop, it is very important to change your power plan.
It is highly recommended to use the “High Performance” plan during playing games on a laptop to avoid FPS drops and stuttering.
