Learn how to trade players in Madden 23!

Madden 23 is an American football game based on the National Football League that includes features such as staff management, an enhanced scenario engine and a weekly strategy to create the most powerful roster possible. If you want the best players available on your roster then you will need to trade for them.

This guide will tell you how to trade for any players in the game.

Madden 23 Franchise Mode: How To Trade Players

First, you need to go over to Patrick Mahomes who is one of the hardest players to trade for in Madden.

Just go ahead and click on the Edit Player option after selecting Patrick Mahomes. Here you need to change his position to any position of your choice.

For the purpose of this guide, we have changed his position to Punter.

Now when you check his overall stats in the Punter position, you will notice that he has a 40 overall as compared to 10 previously.

Next, you need to select the Trade For option and then select the round and pick of your choice.

Submit your trade offer and select Yes when the prompt appears.

Now go back to Patrick Mahomes and then click on the Edit Player option.

Here change his position back to Quarterback and then you will notice that his stats now reflect 95 overalls.

While this method might sound unrealistic as it allows you to bypass the game mechanic and logic to trade for any player, it works 100% without any issues

The second method to trade for any player is to load in Preseason week and search for all the high-rated Free Agents that are available in the class.

If you don’t want them to be injured then turn off all the pre-existing injuries option in the League Settings.

While players like Odell Beckham JR can be really expensive to trade, you can sign other players like Bryan Bulaga that are relatively cheaper in terms of cost.

You need to sign three free agents and then head over to the Trade Center in the Manage Roster option.

Click on the Manual Trade option and then select all the three Free Agents that you just signed.

There are two things that are more valued in the trading system than any other position: First and second-round draft picks and Quarterbacks. If you can stack up on first-round draft picks then you can trade for any player.

Now select an opposing team such as the Chargers and then trade for 1st,2nd and 3rd round picks.

If the trade gets declined then you put in an offer for the 4th round instead of 3rd

Your trade will now be accepted and you just need to make an offer that involves the 1st,2nd or 3rd round pick.

That’s it, now go ahead and use these tricks to get the trade for any player of your choice!
