As you explore the open world of Dead Island 2, you will often come across locked safes and doors. In order to access these locked areas, you will need a corresponding key to unlock them. These keys such as the Halperin Security Safe key can be often found while completing a mission or a challenge.
This guide will tell you how to find the Security Guard’s Safe Key in Dead Island 2.
How to unlock Halperin Security Safe
The Halperin Security Safe can be found, you guessed it, at the Halperin Hotel. Once you reach there, head over to the centre of the hotel and you will find a guard room with a locked door.
Break the circuit found on the right side of the door and then destroy the glass window on the back side of the guard room with the golf club.
This will allow you to collect the contents inside the metal locker and throw the golf club towards the circuit to unlock the door.Inside you will find the Halperin Security Safe which requires a key to unlock.
To find the key, head over to the underground parking lot found on the opposite side of the guard room.Here you will come across a level 9 zombie called Hotel Security.
Kill this enemy to obtain the Security Guard Safe Key from his drop.Head back to the Security Guard Room and use your key to open the safe.
As a reward for your efforts, you will receive a rare Violent Machete weapon from the safe.In case you are having trouble finding the zombie, then you can come back to the area once you complete the Halperin Hotel part of the main quest.
