The Dueling Club in Hogwarts Legacy first needs to be unlocked if you want to access it. This dueling club can be used to complete side quests, gather more EXP and practice your dueling.

To be able to unlock it, you will need to have completed at least The First Defense Against Dark Arts Class.
In this class, you will duel Sebastion, after defeating Sebastion in a duel, you will need to speak with him again and get a side quest that unlocks the Dueling Club.
The Dueling Club’s side quest is located at The South Wing and into The Clocked Tower Courtyard. Once you are at the marked area, you will need to speak with Lucan Brattelby and start your very first duel.
