Being a student at the prestigious Hogwarts isn’t an easy task and often requires a lot of work such as solving puzzles. As you explore the open world, you will often come across challenging puzzles called Merlin Trials in different parts of the map. Completing these trials will reward you with an extra gear slot to store all of your shiny new gear without worrying about storage space
This guide will tell you the location of all the Merlin Trials in the Manor Cape area.
All 5 Manor Cape Merlin Trial Puzzles
There are a total of 5 Merlin Trials that can be found in Manor Cape and the solution for each trial is different as the game tries to test your puzzle-solving skills. Do note that you will need 1 Mallowsweet Leaf to participate in each trial.

The 1st Merlin Trial can be found at the location shown above on the map and requires you to cast the Confrigo spell to light up 3 torches which can be easily identified.

The 2nd Merlin Trial is located at the centre of the map towards the right corner of the map. To complete this trial, you will need to flip the stone cubes on top of the pillars by using the Flipendo spell.
The goal is to match the symbols on the cube with the pillar at the bottom.

The 3rd Merlin Trial can be found at the bottom left corner of the map at the location shown above.
For this trial, you will need to use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to lift the giant ball of stone near the coast.
Cast the spell to bring the ball to the cliff next to it and then place it into the hole with the orange flag to complete the trial.

The 4th Merlin Trial is located at the bottom part of the map at the above location. Once you reach there, jump down from the cliff and enter the cave where you will a group of butterflies.
Cast the Lumos spell to make these butterflies follow you and then take them to the giant stone pillar next to the place where you started the trial.
There are 3 stone pillars that you need to light up with these butterflies and all of them are easy to find as they are located near the trial.

Last but not least is the 5th Merlin Trial which can be found at the bottom right corner of the map. In order to complete this trial, you will need to use the Confrigo spell to destroy five stone pillars in the area.
The pillars are easy to find as they are conveniently located around the starting location.
