Hogwarts Legacy is full of puzzles and as you progress further you will come across Merlin trials found all over the map. Completing these challenging trials can be often rewarding as you will receive additional gear slots which can be pretty handy if you are running out of storage slots to save your loot.
This guide will tell you the location of the Merlin Trials on the Clagmar Coast of the game.
All 5 Clagmar Coast Merlin Trial Puzzles
There are a total of 5 Merlin Trials that can be found on the Clagmar Coast. Do note that you will need Mallowsweet Leaves in order to participate in these trials.
The 1st Merlin Trial can be found at the above location near the edge of the Coast. Use your broomstick to fly ahead and then cast the Reparo spell to form a pillar out of those stones.
There will be 3 such puzzles where you need to use the spell to create a pillar.
The 2nd Merlin Trial can be found towards the bottom part of the map at the location shown above in a puddle of water.
You will need to use the Confringo spell to destroy the highlighted rocks on the mountains. There are a total of 5-6 large blocks of stones that need to be demolished.
The 3rd Merlin Trial can be found in the forest area of the Clagmar Coast at the location shown above.
Once you reach there, you will need to destroy those ball-shaped structures with two holes in them which look similar to eyes.
The 4th Merlin Trial can be found at the top right corner of the map at the above location. Once you reach there, you will come across two large cubes stacked on top of each other.
You will need to use the Flipendo spell to ensure that the symbols shown on both cubes are identical. There are 3 such pairs of cubes that you need to flip in order to complete the trial.
Last but not least is the 5th Merlin Trial which can be found towards the top of the map at the location shown above.
Jump down from the cliff and you will see a bunch of blue-coloured butterflies in the air. Cast the Lumos spell and you will see more groups around you.
After you have collected three groups, head over to the back side of the cliff and cast the Depulso spell to flip the switch and lower the wooden platform.
Illuminate the 2 large cubes on the two corners of the cliff and the trial will be complete.
