Having a hard time finding all the books in Hello Neighbor 2’s Late Fees DLC? Follow this straightforward guide and you’d have them all in no time.
Here is where you can find all the books in Hello Neighbor 2: Late Fees and where you need to put them to solve the puzzle.
Late Fees | All Book Locations – Hello Neighbor 2
On the very front of the library where you begin the game, you will see a large board containing several images.
They represent the books you need to find scattered around the library premises to then return to their respective shelves.
Once you find a book and return it to its rightful place, the image on the board corresponding to the book you returned should light up.
Take note that you also need to do all of these without the librarian seeing you, which we believe is the hardest part about the puzzle itself.
We need to collect 12 of them. Let us begin.
The Clef Mark
The Clef Mark book can be found on the staircase at the entrance facing the library to the right.
Grab it then go down to the ground level of the library entrance. Just go down the staircase to the right and go to its back.
You should see there a fallen stack of books leaning on a large bookshelf. Step on it and jump to the bookshelf. You should be able to hang on it using the stack of books as a boost.
Here is where you will put the Clef Mark book. You should see the Clef Mark symbol light up on the bookshelf and the large board by the entrance.
The Campfire Mark
From the entrance of the library, go to the left and through some tall shelves.
To the other side of the shelf where you see an electrical box is the Campfire Mark book enclosed in glass.
Open it and grab the book. After that, go down the flight of stairs nearest where you got the book then head left past some more bookshelves.
Look for an empty large bookshelf. That is where you will slot in the Campfire Mark book. It is in the very bottom of the curved staircases where it meets.
After doing so, the Campfire symbol on the board should light up.
The Crescent and Star Mark
From the entrance, go down the stairs to the floor below.
Upon reaching the ground level of the library, look immediately to your left on the corner of the stairs you just went down on.
There, you should see a small round table containing the Crescent and Star Mark book.
Grab it then go back to the board by the entrance. Looking at it, go to your right and climb the bookshelf by the window using the stack of books beside it.
Then, go up further to the wooden platform. There, you should see a small bookshelf with the Crescent and Star Mark symbols. This is where you put the book.
The Clapperboard Mark
The next book can be found on the floor of the ground level of the library. The challenge here, however, is picking it up without the librarian seeing you.
It is located just down the stairs to the left of the entrance, on the ground, behind a table filled with books.
Just do your best to sneak around the librarian and grab the book.
Some may even go around the other side of the library itself and wait for the librarian to change positions away from the target book.
After grabbing the book, look for its shelf on the left side of the curved stairs on the left.
Slot it in and the Clapperboard mark on the board should light up.
The Planet Mark
The Planet Mark book can be found on top of the tall bookshelves directly facing the entrance of the library.
To get it, you must sneak across the room to the curved staircase on the right.
Climb the bookshelves there until you can reach the tall bookshelves where the target book is at.
After grabbing the book, go back to where you slotted in the Clef Mark book.
Just past the bookshelf where you slotted in the first book are bookshelves leaning against one another forming an enclosed space in the middle.
It can be seen easily because of the fallen lampshade lighting up the space brightly.
Enter the enclosed space and there you will find the Planet Mark bookshelf.
The Fox Mark
The Fox Mark book can be found on the rooftop of the library.
One way to get there is to climb the bookshelf on the right of the entrance and to the wooden platform above.
There, you should see a window opening you can jump on.
Drop down to the planks on the side of the wall.
Now face the library again then look up to see another wooden platform you can climb on. It is shaded by a curtain with brown, red, and purple colors.
You should now be at the rooftop of the library. You should also see the book just past the curtain.
After grabbing it, make your way around the windows on the rooftop until you find an opening leading to some wooden planks at the ceiling of the library.
There you should see the bookshelf where you need to put the Fox Mark book.
The House Mark
The next book can be seen on the rooftop as well. It is underneath a made-up shade near the window opening where you saw the Fox Mark bookshelf.
Once you have the House Mark book, go back to the entrance of the library.
Go down the stairs and go to the right. Make your way across the room behind the curved stairs on the right.
There, look up and find a bookshelf with a house symbol on it.
Slot in the book you are carrying by jumping on top of a smaller, green bookshelf.
The Opera Masks Mark
The Opera Masks Mark book is a bit tricky to get compared to the previous ones.
To get the book, you need to make your way to the small platform to the left of the room from the entrance near the library’s ceiling. Start by climbing here as shown on the image above.
You would need to jump across the planks and lights on the upper level of the library to make your way there. Hopefully, the screenshots we provided would help you.
After reaching the said platform by the ceiling on the left of the room, look for an electrical box. Below is the Opera Masks Mark book.
After that ordeal, make your way back to the entrance. Go down the stairs to the right then look for the bookshelf with the respective symbol near the stairs itself.
The Musical Note Mark
To get the next book, go down the stairs again on the right from the entrance.
Near the bookshelf where you slotted in the previous one is a tall bookshelf with a globe inside of it.
Take note that we aren’t referring to the bookshelf that has a globe on top of it.
On top of the said bookshelf is the Musical Note Mark book. Climb up using the smaller shelves beside it.
Once you have it, go back to the entrance of the library, and go to the left facing the board.
Make your way past some normal bookshelves and you should soon see a bookshelf with a Musical Note symbol on it.
The Rocket Mark
Make your way to the other end of the room from the entrance.
To the right is a lever switch beside some stack of books. Pull it down to open the closed space to the right.
There, you should see the Rocket Mark book. The space is dark and is only lit up by the sunlight through the window.
After that, go back to the entrance of the library.
To your left, go up the banner to the planks connecting several bookshelves from the top using the big machinery you see as a boost.
Just do what you did with the Opera Masks Mark book.
Follow the planks and it should lead you to the Rocket Mark bookshelf.
The Flower Mark
The Flower Mark book can be seen on the other side of the room from the entrance.
To the corner left of the room on the ground level, you should see the book enclosed in glass much like the Campfire Mark book. It is near a door.
Open it and get the book.
Now, go to the rooftop again using the method we showed to reach the Fox Mark book.
Cross the wooden planks where you found the Fox Mark bookshelf then drop down to the chandelier in the middle of the library. Be careful not to fall.
Once you are on the chandelier, look for a platform that you can jump on that has the same curtain look as you saw heading up the rooftop.
Swing the chandelier by going back and forth until you feel that you have enough momentum to make the jump to the said platform.
There you should see the Flower Mark bookshelf.
The Heart Mark
The last book can be found on the outside premises of the library.
Make your way to the fountain at the back of the library. Near the wheel and on the grass is the book you are looking for. Interact with the wheel.
With the book, head down to the deep dig located on the other side of the fountain.
Drop down the submerged bookshelves and jump your way to the wheel lit up with red light. Be careful not to fall on the ink yourself.
Turn the wheel until it shows a green light.
You should then see a wooden plank going up and down because of the pressure of the ink blasting it.
Use the plank to reach the opening where you would see the Heart Mark bookshelf.
There you have it! You now have all books returned and the board all lit up. All you have to do now is to start the mechanism and get the key to the secret room of the library.
