The trio is in need of a garbage truck to use in their next big operation and will have to resort to stealing one. This mission can be done with any of the three playable characters.
A trash truck can be regularly found around certain areas of Los Santos. After stealing one, you just have to drive it back to the FIB warehouse. Here is everything you need to know about the Trash Truck mission and how to get its Gold Medal in GTA 5.

Gold Medal Objectives
Keep in mind the following objectives throughout the level to get a Gold Medal at the end:
- Time: Complete within 05:00.
- Undented: Deliver the Trashmaster with no damage.
- In The Dust: Reach top speed in the Trashmaster.
Mission Synopsis
A trash truck can be commonly found around Mirror Park, La Mesa or East Vinewood so try your luck in those areas if you are having trouble locating one.
After spotting and stealing a trash truck, you will automatically be given a two star wanted level.
It is recommended to use Franklin for this mission as a couple of the requirements for the Gold Medal involve having the Trash Truck receive no damage and reaching its top speed.
Franklin’s power makes both tasks easy to attain.
Once the cops are off your tail, head to the FIB warehouse in El Burro Heights marked on your map.
Your character can then exit the truck and walk away. Doing so will end the mission and, if you got the objectives, give you the Gold Medal.
