There is not one location in Green Hell, that can be deemed the absolute BEST base locations. There is just so many locations, and so many of them are exceptional. However, if you’re looking for some good spots for a base, without looking for them yourself, there are a handful of honorable mentions. We’ll go through why we think they can be one of the best base locations also.
Best Base Location – Green Hell
Basically, a good base spot consists of having adequate resources around, a water source, some kind of shelter, and safe from hostiles. Granted, there are a lot of spots which offer all of those things, so we’ll mention a couple of them instead of one location.
Now, you can get the most of the spot if you make some changes to it, so keep that in mind. Once you pick a spot, do some tweaking here and there. These are all of the best base locations in Green Hell:
- 35W 25S Coordinates – Basically, we chose this one because of the terrain. It is a level terrain, with some big open spaces for camps. It has quite a lot of trees, plants, and it has a clean water source. Generally speaking though, for as the best tactical base, this isn’t it. It is really good, don’t get me wrong, but we chose it mainly because it is beautiful and safe.
- 28W 34S Coordinates – This is more of a water-focused base. Fishing is great here as fish traps can be setup in the deep water, it has a clean water source as well. It has a crate for storage as well, and it has a whole tent with cupboards, shelves and more. There is no need to use that if you don’t want to, but it does help having that as extra.
- 26W 27S Coordinates – There is a lot of plant potential here. There are so many different kinds, and you’ll also have a lot of trees around. You can even build the base over the water here, which makes for one of the sickest bases ever. This one I would say is more tailored for new players.
Like I said, it’s not like these spots are the best bases on the face of the earth, but they’re up there for sure. There are so many spots that are available, so it is really hard to say.
