The quest will begin with you speaking with Katheryne. After a slightly longer dialog with her, you will be sent out on a mission to the mining camp to look for the Sumeru researcher.
To get to this area, you will need to go inside The Chasm and get to the north side of it. Just by the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel you will need to take the teleport to get closer to the quest objective.
Once you get to this teleport waypoint, simply drop down where the quest mark is located and you will find Hosseini the sumeru researcher.
