Genshin Impact will always keep you busy and let you increase your character’s Friendship Level by completing different types of activities. There are a total of 10 Friendship Levels and once you reach the last level, you will be rewarded with a unique name card. Some of these activities might be hard to come by and most of them require the use of resin. Main Daily Source of EXP
The main source of daily companionship exp is daily commissions. Each commission rewards a moderate amount of exp with the full commission completion bonus rewarding a larger chunk.
Spending resin on domains and bosses also rewards exp but at a slower rate. Nonetheless from resin to commissions, there’s a limit to how much companionship exp you can gain a day.
World Events
There is one more source of companionship exp and that’s world events. During standard play, you might encounter some mobs in the wild seemingly at random. However, there is a way to manipulate their spawn and force them to occur.
Forcing Spawns
There are certain magic spots where you can stand in Liyue and you can trigger a world even spawn by logging out and then into the game.
Standing in that general rough area is fine, and if you log out of the game and come into the game again, you reset your game session and cause the game to enable world event spawns at all locations again.
It also seems like there’s some sort of internal cooldown or timer between world events, but if a world event is spawnable and you’re at this magic location it will cause a wild event to spawn on the beach.
If a world event doesn’t instantly spawn wait up to a couple of minutes and maybe try re-logging again. Once the world event spawns, clear the event and then return back to the location on the stone wall.
Repeat the process of logging out and back to continue spawning wild events.
Limitations
This isn’t completely unlimited companionship EXP. There’s still a limit and you’ll only be able to receive rewards from the events 10 times a day.
Still, that’s up to 100 extra companionship EXP a day for four of your characters, which is 400 EXP total per day, and if you’re pushing for friendship level 10 every little help.
Unlimited Mob Drops
There is no cap to the drops from the enemies spawned by these events. This means you can repeatedly cause Fatally Agents, Chichen Mages, Treasure holders, and other world event groups to spawn and farm their drops.
You can get easy ascension materials without even having to leave this area of the map. It is not a huge amount, but it’s still a small bonus if you’re just here for the companionship exp.
