As you reach the end of the game, you will eventually get attacked by Impious Mantis.
Normally what most players do is they kill the Mantis and just scan it.
However, there is a trick to this quest. The Mantis has some things on the back that you can walk up to and collect.
Upon killing a Mantis, you will see a Mantis Gland that is on their backs. You need to pick those things and take them back to your virus scanner and scan them.
