Check out this guide to change the race length in F1 22!

F1 22 is the 15th instalment in the popular Formula 1 video game series developed by Codemasters where players can play as their favourite F1 player and race their cars on real-life F1 tracks. In this guide, we will tell you how to change the track length in the game.

F1 22: How to Change Race Length

In order to change the race length, you will need to do it before a session and not during every race that you play. For example, if you are playing the Grand Prix and you wish to change the race length then you will need to do it before starting the Grand Prix.

If you are already playing a Grand Prix then you will need to start a new one to change the setup and settings for it. Once you have chosen the tracks, cars and drivers, you will see the screen above before starting an event.

Click on the Weekend Structure tab in the middle and you will be able to change the race length by modifying the session length option. By default, it is set to short which is 5 laps and you will be able to further increase it by selecting options such as Medium (25% of the full race), Long (50% of the full race) and Full (100% of the entire race).

This same process is applicable for other events such as online multiplayer where you will see this screen after setting up your lobby. Click on Settings and then you will get access to the Weekend Structure where you can modify race length as well as other options mentioned above.

Similarly, when you are playing the Career mode, don’t select the Recommended Settings and instead click on Custom Setings. Here you will be able to access the Weekend Structure and then modify the race length as mentioned earlier.

That’s it, now go ahead and follow these instructions to change the race length in the game!
