Genshin Impact recently received a new event called “Duel! The Summoner’s Summit” that adds four mini-games to the game including the Evermotion Mechanical Painting event. These events will be available for the next two weeks and players will receive various rewards for completing them.
The Evermotion Mechanical Painting event requires you to solve a puzzle by arranging the gears in the correct positions. You will receive upto 60 Primogems along with some other rewards for restoring pieces of artwork to their original form.
This guide will tell you how to solve the Day 1 and Day 2 of the Evermotion Mechanical Painting Day.

In order to participate in the Mechanical Painting Event, you will need to head over to the following location in Mondstandt. Here you will find Felix Yogue and you can start the event by interacting with the painting found on his left.
In the first game, you will notice that there is a Swap button on the right side of the screen. Click on it to switch the position of Surface I and Surface II.

Now place the gears in the following locations as shown above:
- Gear Column 1: Medium Gear
- Gear Column 2: Medium Gear
- Gear Column 3:None
- Gear Column 4: Large Gear
As a reward for your efforts, you will receive 30 Primogems, 1 Evermotion MEchanical Painting called Knights of the Favonius Library, 3 Debris of Decarabian’s City,3 Boreal Wolf’s Cracked Tooth and 3 Chans of Dandelion Gladiator.
Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Mondstadt II Solution
The second puzzle is fairly simple and straightforward too, start by swapping Surface I and II of the puzzle.
Now place the gears in their respective positions as shown above:
- Gear Column 1: Medium Gear
- Gear Column 2:Large Gear
- Gear Column 3:Large Gear
For completing the 2nd part, you will be rewarded with 30 Primogems,1 Evermotion Mechanical Painting called Dawn Winery, 3 Debris of Decarabian’s City,3 Boreal Wolf’s Cracked Tooth,3 Chans of Dandelion Gladiator.
That’s it, you have successfully completed both the parts for Day 1 of the Evermotion Mechanical Painting puzzle.
