Your character will look like a paladin and have similarities to a paladin. You will be able to protect yourself greatly against incoming damage and deal a lot of damage as you progress through the game.

This guide will show you how to build the best Faith level 50 Character in Elden Ring

Elden Ring: Ultimate Faith Build Guide (Level 50 Guide)

Making the Build Work

The equipment for this build will be the Brass Shield. The shield is amazing for just 15 Strength, which it outclasses any shield to get at that point of the game.

The sword for this build that you want to use is the Noble’s Sacred Slender Sword, you can get this sword from the nobles that wander around the lands. Easy to find mobs.

This sword has a slightly longer reach than the broadsword and some other swords. Its critical rating is higher than other swords.

For armor, this is the better equipment to use, which is both good in stats and looks like a proper Templar set, they are:

  • Greathelm (Great defensive stats)
  • Mausoleum Knight Armor (Great defensive stats)
  • Knight Gauntlets
  • Knight Greaves

With this set your character will look amazing, as a proper Templar.

The talismans that you want to use with this build are:

  • Green Turtle Talisman
  • Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger
  • Curved Sword Talisman

The Green Turtle Talisman is a great talisman that will help you keep most of your stamina up and refill the stamina bar faster than normal.

The Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger grants you FP back on critical strikes.

The Curved Sword Talisman enhances your block counter damage. You will do a lot of blocking and countering towards your enemies, and the talisman is here to get you some extra damage.

Templar Gameplay

A block counter is when you block an attack with your shield and immediately attack the opponent. With this method you consume a bit more stamina than normal, but the damage dealt is higher.

With this method, you can stagger enemies, giving you a chance to get close to them and perform a movement that will either 1-hit kill the enemies or deal a ton of damage to them.

This defensive build will want you to encounter a fight by approaching your enemies with a shield and waiting for them to make the first move.

Once you block their first move, counter it by attacking and eventually staggering them. Upon a stagger, you will simply just get close to them and deal a ton of damage.

In this situation, you will want to have the Ash of War: Barricade Shield. This ash of war will hold your stamina as you defend against enemies and move around.

There are 2 main skills that you will want to use for this build, they are:

  • Blessing’s Boon
  • Aspects of the Crucible: Tail

Blessing’s Boon is a support-like skill that places a ring below you that will heal you and your allies while in combat.

The Aspects of the Crucible: Tail is your AOE ability. The class has very little AOE damage. This skill will summon a tail on your character and slam enemies to the ground.

You can use the Ash of War: Sacred Blade to boost the range of your weapon attack. With this ash of war, you also get a buff that gives you extra damage for 15 seconds when the ash of war has been activated.

The Ash of War: Golden Vow is the ash of war that increases your defense and attack. This ash of war will slightly increase all the attributes that will help you in any battle.
