Disney Dreamlight Valley is a third-person life simulator game where players can play as their favourite Disney character and engage in fun quests and activities with their friends. After you reach level 10 friendship with Mickey Mouse, he will add a magical treasure chest to your inventory that contains the location of a secret door.
This guide will tell you where to find the Secret Door in the game.
Secret Door Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley
When you talk to Mickey about the quest, he will tell you a riddle that contains a clue about the location of the door: “Turrets and towers you will behold.
Within: a door for things new and old.”
There is only one location in the game where you will Turrets and Towers which is the Castle.
Head into the Castle and then turn to head past the bushes where you will find a purple curtain covering the secret door.
Interact with it to reveal the door and you will notice it is protected by a strange lock that you need to open.
You will need to collect gemstones in order to open a door and it already has a green gem placed in it so you need to find 4 more to unlock it.
You will need the following gems to unlock it:
- Aquamarine: Found in Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor
- Garnet: Found in Peaceful Meadow and Plaza
- Citrine: Found in Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust
- Tourmaline: Found in Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau
Use your pickaxe in these locations to mine the gems and make sure that they are standard ones, not the shiny gems that usually see.
After you have collected all the gems, return back to the door and place in the following order: Blue, Red, Orange and Pink to unlock the door.
Head inside the room and talk to Mickey to complete the Secret Door quest and he will reward you with the Enchanting Fountain.
There is also a chest inside the room that contains some flowers that you can sell at Goofy’s Stall to earn some money and a book lying on the ground that you put in the Bookshelf to access another hidden room.
That’s it, now go ahead and visit the castle to unlock the secret door!
