While playing Disney Dreamlight Valley and progressing through the story, you are going to meet a lot of characters. How To Unlock Maui in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can find Maui in Moana Realm inside the Dream Castle.
By following the story, when you enter the castle for the first time, you can enter Moana Realm for only 50 Dreamlight.
If you miss this chance to enter Moana Realm, you have to come back later and pay 3.000 Dreamlight to unlock.
Once you enter the realm, you will have a chance to meet both Moana and Maui. You need to talk to them and they will give you a quest line that needs to be followed, firstly you will be able to unlock Moana, and have her appear in the valley.
To unlock Maui, you have to continue following the quest line. After Moana arrives in the Valley, you will receive a quest called “A Feast Worth of a Demigod” which will require you to go back to Moana Realm and talk to Maui.
Once you talk to Maui, he will give you a task to create three meals with at least a 3-star rating.
When you have done all three recipes, bring it back to Maui and he will be impressed with your cooking.
After that, your next task will be to build the Peaceful Grotto in the valley which cost 5.000 Star Coins.
When the Peaceful Grotto is built in the valley, Maui will join you and he will be unlocked.
