To unlock the camera in the game, you first need to bring Theodore to your island and construct a museum for him.
After the building gets constructed, wait for a few days and donate 10 items for the museum.
This will improve your relationship with Theodore to one and a half hearts by making the camera appear for sale in the museum.
You can then purchase the camera for a price of 16,000 Dinks from him.
Now equip the camera in your toolbar and then press left click to capture photos.
There will be various photo requests available for you on the notice board and you will receive rewards for completing them.
These photos will be available in the photo section of the Adventure Journal and then you can sell them to the person that has requested them.
