Digimon Survive: How To Fix Controller Issues On PC

There are a few reports that have been experienced by the players about Controller Issues such as:

  • Controller is not working
  • Controller suddenly stops working
  • Controller not detected

The first thing before you start using the controller, you must make sure that the controller that using for playing Digimon Survive is enabled on your PC.

We are going to show you few steps that will prevent the controller issue.

Step 1 – Restart the Game

After restarting the game, you can check again if the problem is solved. If the problem is still there, then continue to the next step.

Step 2 – Restart your PC

After the system restart, launch your game again and check if the controller is working properly.

Step 3 – Unplug and reconnect the controller

For this step, you have to close the game completely, and then unplug the controller from the pc. After that, first open the game again and then try to reconnect your controller again.

Additionally, you can disconnect all other external USB devices that you have connected to your PC.

Step 4 – Configure the Controller

After reconnecting the controller, the next step is to configure it. For this, you need to go to Steam and click on Settings, then go to Controller from the menu.

In the controller window, you need to click on General Controller Settings.

On the Controller Settings window, you will have to check if you have a PlayStation or Xbox controller and mark the specific Support. With this method, you will enable the Controller Support for the game on steam.

Once you do this, go back in the game and check is your controller work properly.

Step 5 – Disable/Enable Steam Input

Go to your Steam, and find Digimon Survive in the Library bar, then right-click on it and select Properties.

On the next window, go to the controller tab.

Here, you need to try to select “Enable Steam Input”, and then launch the game to check your Controller.

After testing the game, if you have the same problem, then go back to Steam, and now select Disable Steam Input in your Digimon Survive Controller Properties.

Step 6 – Launch Steam in big picture mode

On your Steam, at the top right corner you can see the Big Picture Mode icon and click on it.

Now, go to Library, find Digimon Survive and click on it.

Launch the game in Big Picture Mode, and then check if now your controller issues are fixed.

Step 7 – Launch Steam in Big Picture Mode, switch Steam Input Per Game Settings as Forced On/Off

First, launch your Steam again in Big Picture Mode and go to Library.

Find Digimon Survive and open it. In the next window of the game, click on “Manage Game”.

In the next window, click on “Controller Options”.

Now from the controller options menu, first of all select “Forced Off” and click Ok. Go launch your game, and if you still facing the same issues, go back and from the same menu select “Forced On”.

If this doesn’t work, then all you need to do is to check with a wired controller.
