Diffracted Hypothesis Quest Guide: Genshin Impact

The Diffracted Hypothesis is a part of the Vibro-Crystal Research Day 2 Challenge. In order to complete this event, you will need to select 4 trial characters each and divide them into 2 teams. You also have the option of using your characters to form a team.

Some of the best characters for your first team can be Yoimiya, Ayato, Xiangling and Yun Jin. For the second team, we recommend selecting Razor, Fischi, Kaeya and Diona.

The Vibro Crystal Setup suitable for the first and the second half can be found below. Now it’s time to discuss the strategy needed to complete this challenge.

During the first half of the challenge, use Yoimiya to deal as much damage as possible and employ Ayato and Yun Jin to boost your normal attack.

The elemental burst and skills of Xiangling can be helpful for assisting the Pyro damage of Yoimiya. This crystal setup can be a good choice for Yoimiya as she can use her Elemental skill and then use her normal attack to deliver the maximum damage.

Now during the second half, use the Normal attack speed buff to deal the maximum damage by choosing Razor. The rest of the team can then assist him by using superconduct to reduce the amount of physical resistance of the enemies.

The best way to score over 2000 points is to first identify and defeat those enemies with the highest points. You will first need to kill enemies with lower points so that those with higher points can spawn.

Use the Transmitter Crystal to your advantage to trigger the buffs and reach the maximum level. Once you get to the maximum level, your entire team will receive a buff that will increase your Critical Damage.

After the challenge gets started, you just need to focus on the yellow bar at the top of the screen since it represents the Vibro Crystal Harmonics level that is used to increase your critical damage. Fill this bar as much as possible by defeating nearby enemies to reach the maximum level of 4.

Another tip is to defeat Hyrdo and Cryo enemies first since they have the ability to freeze your character and reduce your health. If you choose to defeat them first then you can avoid getting frozen and save a lot of your precious time

Whenever you see Ruins Guards and Geovishaps, you need to be careful as they can deal a lot of heavy damage. You need to watch out for their animation that indicates whether they are about to attack.

The rewards that you receive on Day 2 of the challenge will actually depend on your total score. If you get a total score of 500, you will receive 70 Primogems,20000 Mora and 2 Mist Veiled Elixir.

For getting a total score of 1000, you will be rewarded with 20000 Mora,2 Hero’s Wits and 5 Mist Veiled Lead Elixir.

Finally, if you manage to get a score of 2000 and above, you will receive 20000 Mora and 2 Mystic Enhancement Ores in addition to the rewards for the previous two scores.

By following the strategy mentioned above, you will be easily able to score over 2000 points and complete the challenge.

That’s now go ahead and follow the tips and tricks above to complete the Diffracted Hypothesis challenge!
