In order to get this bow, you will need to go into Trials of Osiris, which is available only from Friday at reset until reset on Tuesday.

Go and speak to Saint-14 in the Tower Hanger, and pick up your passage with is basically your ticker into trials. Then you need to select trials of Osiris from the Crucible menu.

For this trial, you will need to reach rank 16 in Season of Plunder to be able to obtain the Whistler’s Whim. Because rank 16 is a bit high, it is recommended to play Trials of Osiris to earn rank-up points by winning rounds. Make sure to win more rounds and you will rank up much faster.

Even if you lose, you will still get some rank-up points and XP, but it will be much slower to rank up as usual.

Even if you don’t like Trials of Osiris or you’re not very good at PVP, you can still get the weapon, but it will take you a little bit longer to obtain the Whistler’s Whim.

Once you reach rank 16, you will get your first roll of the Whistler’s Whim as a rank up reward, and the weapon will be placed into your trials loophole which means that you can get different versions with better perk combinations on the weapon.

You can also earn trials engrams from ranking up with Saint-14, and every time you rank up, you get new trials engram that can be turned into the crypto in the tower for random loot, or you can focus them with Saint-14 to get what you want, but it might be a bit expensive.

There is also an Adept version of Whistler’s Whim when it’s the featured weapon in Trials of Osiris for any given weekend.
