Destiny 2 has recently received a new weapon called the Epochal Integration which was added during the Season of the Deep. This legendary hand cannon can be obtained as a reward for completing a quest called Parting the Veil which serves as an epilogue to Lightfall by filling in story gaps after the end of the campaign.
This guide will tell you how to obtain the Epochal Integration in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2: how to get epochal weapon
In order to start this quest, you will need to head over to Neomuna and talk to Nimbus there. Do note that you must finish the Lightfall campaign and the Unfinished Business quest first.
This will unlock the Deterministic Chaos Exotic Machine Gun and start a new quest called Parting the Veil assigned by Nimbus. Completing this quest will give you access to the Epochal Intergration Hand Cannon in the game.
The first part of the quest requires you to defeat Cabal to acquire the Vex tracking data. The best place to complete this objective is the Ahimsa Park area to get this done quickly where you can find a lot of Cabals.
Next, you need to head over to a cave found in Maya’s Retreat and kill three Harpies to gather Vex data from the node. If you have trouble locating it, simply track the quest on your map and follow the navigation points to reach there.
The third step is called Parting the Veil and it requires you to collect additional Vex data from the Irkalla Complex.
It is located near the Veil Containment Facility where the fight with the Shadow Legion takes place at the end of the campaign. Clear the three/four waves of Vex enemies and the objective will be complete.
Now it’s time to complete the mission arc called “Parting the Veil” near the flag close to the Vex conduit. You will need atleast 1770+ power for this and fight against a Tormentor boss in Calus Arena.
Once you complete the mission, head over to the Hall of Heroes in Neomuna to reach the Pouka Pond where you can claim your legendary hand cannon weapon.
