Destiny 2 latest update brings plenty of changes to the game including new and completely reworked weapons among much other stuff. In this guide, we will tell you how to obtain the D.F.A Hand Cannon in the game.
Destiny 2: How to get D.F.A. (Legendary Hand Cannon)
The D.F.A is a legendary Kinetic hand cannon with an Adaptive Frame meaning that has got a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy.
The stats for the weapon are
- Reload Speed-47
- Rounds Per Minute-140
In order to obtain the D.F.A hand cannon, you will need to run Nightfall activities such as Nightfall strikes when D.F.A is in the weapon rotation. It cannot be crafted like other weapons so you need to spend some time farming it.
It has a chance of dropping from the final boss when you kill them and Nightfall exclusive legendary weapons have a higher chance of dropping when you do higher level Nightfalls such as Legend, Master or Grandmaster.
You will need to participate in these activities with a team which you can find through the Bungie app or other “Looking for a Group” websites.
Some of the best perks for PvE are Chamered Compensator, Tactical Mag, Outlaw and Rampage. Chamber Compensator increases the stability and moderately controls the recoil while slightly decreasing the handling speed.
Tactical Mag slightly improves the stability, reload speed and magazine size. Finally, Outlaw decreases the reload speed with precision kills whereas Rampage ensures that kills made with the weapon temporarily grant increased damage that stacks upto 3 times
For PvP, you can go with perks such as Hammer Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion and Vorpal Weapon. Hammer Forged Rifling increases the range while Accurized Rounds also boost the range.
Perpetual Motion ensures that the weapon gains stability while handling reload speed while Vorpal Weapons will increase the damage against Guardians in their supers.
The D.F.A also has a couple of cool origin traits making it much more suitable for PvE game modes. Stunning Recovery which partially refills your magazine triggers health regeneration and improves recovery for a short duration when you stun an air champion.
Vanguard Vindication ensures that final blows of the weapon grant a small amount of health.
That’s it, now go ahead and grab this small but powerful hand cannon to destroy your enemies in Destiny 2!
