The Torch the Taken challenge requires you to defeat 20 Taken in the Bonfire Bash however many players are facing a glitch where there are unable to progress despite defeating many Taken enemies.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a bug and the entire challenge is poorly worded and barely mentions any details about the specifics on how to complete the challenge.
Instead of killing 20 normal Taken enemies, you need to defeat 20 Taken enemies with orange (Major) and yellow (Ultra) health bars that are taking part in the Bonfire Bash. It is important to note that only your killing blows towards these enemies will count towards the progression of this challenge.
So make sure to kill only those taken enemies that have a yellow or orange bar on them to complete the challenge.
