Star Metal Bars are some rare ingredients you can find in the game since they originate from outer space. These metals are extracted from meteorites and to create them, you will need to burn ingots.
In order to create a Star Metal Bar, you will need the following items:
- 1 Brimstone
- 1 Black Ice
- 2 Star Metal Ore
While Brimstone and Black Ice can be found easily, Star Metal Ores are rare metals that are hard to find. You will need to find the meteorites that contain the ore first and these meteorites usually fall from the sky at random intervals with a loud bang. Be careful as these deadly meteorites can damage nearby structures and kill animals.
You will find these meteorites west of the Snow Biome in the Hill of the Dead when meteor showers take place. These showers will occur at random intervals and will contain 5 to 10 pieces of ores in them.
After the meteorite lands, you will be able to extract the Star Metal Ore from them by using explosive items since these ores cannot be mined normally. Apart from that, you will also need a steel pickaxe to get rid of the core. Items such as Explosive Arrows, Demon Fire Orbs, Explosive Traps and Explosive Jars are a great way to blast those meteorites and extract the ores.
Once you manage to get your hands on the Star Metal Ore, head over to the Furnance and put all the required items along with the fuel to power the furnace. Wait 20 seconds for the furnace to cover these items and you will get a Star Metal Bar in return.
