How To Make Hardened Steel – Conan Exiles
There are plenty of ingredients needed for crafting and upgrading in Conan Exiles, but the Hardened Steel is taking the major place when it comes to crafting higher-tier gear and items.
To make the Hardened Steel in Conan Exiles, you need to craft it with a few needed ingredients.
You need the following ingredients to craft Hardened Steel:
- 1x Steel Bar
- 1x Black Ice
To get the Steel Bar, you will need to obtain an Iron Bar first which you can farm from the Iron Rocks. Also, to make the iron bar, you are required to have a Furnace and 2x Iron Rock in order to craft 1x Iron Bar.
After you are done with the Iron Bar, next is to craft Base Steel that requires only Iron Bars and Steelfire.
You can produce the Steelfire at the Firebowl Cauldron with 2x Tar and 1x Brimstone. Once you obtain Iron Bars and Steelfire, have to place them in a Furnace where you will make your Base Steel.
The last component that you will need for the Hardened Steel is the Black Ice which can be obtained by farming in the icy areas of the map.
Now, after you get Steel Bars and Black Ice, you can go and craft the hardened Steel by using only 1x Steel Bar and 1x Black Ice.
This can be done in the Furnace and the process of crafting the Hardened Steel bar takes only 15 seconds.
