Sprint is something that you will always use in order to survive in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. There are Tactical sprints that provide a slight increase in movement speed and potentially evade any unwanted attention from the opponent. How To Enable Auto Tac Sprint – Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2
In order to enable the auto tac sprint in Modern Warfare 2, just click on the Options button, and go to settings.
In the settings menu, select the “Controller”.
In the Controller section, scroll down to the Gameplay, and you will find the Automatic Sprint.
Click on it and select “Automatic Tactical Sprint”.
Once you select Automatic Tactical Sprint, moving forward while standing makes your character automatically Tactical Sprint.
If you play search and destroy, and you want to be quiet, you can simply go to the Advanced menu, and scroll down to the Movement Behaviors.
In the Sprint/Tactical Sprint Behavior you can select between two options, Toggle or Hold.
You can also change the Auto Move Forward to Single or Double tap.
With Single Tap, pushing the movement stick forward once will make you continuously move forward. Pull the movement stick backward to stop sprinting.
With Double Tap you have to push the movement stick twice in quick succession to make continuously move forward.
In the end, the last option is the Tactical Sprint Behavior which can be switched between Double Tap, Single Tap Sprint, or Single Tap Run
