As you try to find a way outside and escape your bunker in Amnesia: The Bunker, you must search for tools to survive till the end. The Lighter is one such handy tool that will help you explore the surrounding better and light up torches and Molotovs.

Where To Find Lighter
The Lighter is an optional item that you can find in the game and to find it, you will need to head over to the Mission Storage Room. You will need to access the vents found in the West Hallway near the Administration Room.
After getting in the room, you will need to search for a locker with the nameplate “A Giraud” on it. Opening this locker will grant you access to the lighter however the process isn’t straightforward since it is protected with a passcode that you need to enter.
This four-digit passcode is completely random meaning that it will be different for every player in each playthrough. In order to get the passcode, you will need to obtain Giraud’s Dog Tag which contains the code.
Do note that since the codes are different each time, you will need to avoid collecting any other tools before getting your hands on the lighter otherwise you won’t be able to unlock the locker.
The Dog Tag can be found in the Foreman’s Quarter located in the Maintenence Area of the map. To reach there, head through the Office Quarters and go downstairs by taking the second right.
Enter the second room on the left and you will find the dog tag with the code lying on the table. Flip the Dog Tag and it will reveal the code used to unlock the locker.
Go back to the Mission Storage Room and enter the code there to access the locker. Now you will be able to grab the lighter inside and use it to cast fire and light up torches.
That’s it, you have successfully unlocked the lighter in the game!
