Albion Online is a free medieval fantasy MMORPG game where players can grow their wealth, forge alliances and explore the world to engage in intense PvP combat. This guide will tell you how to sell items in the game.
Albion Online: How To Sell Items
Every town and city that you come across in the game will have its own marketplace where you can sell your items. This is the only place where you can sell your items unless you are visiting Caerleon which also has a black market where people will buy items directly from you.

The Marketplace or its entrance is always placed next to the bank, press N to open the cluster map and look for the icon resembling an auctioneer gavel. To sell your items on the marketplace, click the sell tab on the right-hand side of the interface.

This will list all the items currently in your inventory except the ones you are wearing or items in your bank. Do note that if you previously searched for an item using the filters and search bar then those settings might still be in place and you will need to clear them.

If you have something in your inventory and it doesn’t appear in the search tab then click on the refresh icon next to the search field and the filters to clear them. Items with durability such as weapons or armors need to be fully repaired before you can sell them. Damaged items will still appear on the list but you won’t be able to sell them, take them to the repair station nearby and get them fixed and then return to the marketplace.

To sell your item, click the sell button next to the item that you wish to get rid of and if the sell button is visible to you then it means that there is one buy order already placed by another player for this item. In case there is more than one buy order then the offer with the highest price will be filled first.

You can choose to sell your item at the price offered if you need quick cash but if you wish to get more value for your item then select the sell order option. Do note that players can set any price for their buy orders, often the buy order price will be a lot less than the actual worth of the item.
But with a sell order, the marketplace mechanism checks for similar items going on sale in your location and automatically fills in the lowest price of your competitor.

Ideally, you should accept that price for the best chance of selling your item soon. If you place a sell order, you will receive an email in-game when the item gets sold and the silver will be automatically credited to your account.

In case you are not satisfied with the price being offered for your item at the marketplace, then you can recycle your item at the repair station by paying a small amount of silver and get back a few of the original resources used to create it.

If you wish to invest in your crafting ability, take the item to the corresponding item station and stick it to the study tab to trade the item for crafting fame of the same type.
That’s it, now go ahead and sell your items to earn some silver in Albion Online!
