Albion Online is a free medieval fantasy MMORPG game where players can grow their wealth, forge alliances and explore the world to engage in intense PvP combat. This guide will tell you how to get more learning points and crafting focus in the game.
In the world of Albion Online, learning points and crafting focus are two valuable resources that are specific to each character. Many players often find it difficult to find more of these resources after the tutorial is complete.
You can receive a steady stream of both learning points and crafting focus automatically simply by purchasing premium status for your character.
However, there is another way to earn these resources. First are the learning points which are commonly called LP and you can use these learning points on the destiny board to speed up levelling your skills.
Once you have earned just 20% of the required fame for the next level of skill, you can choose to spend LP and reach the next level instantly or keep earning fame by using the skill to reduce the LP cost or grind out the level manually. For combat-related skills, using Tomes of Insight is another way of instantly gaining fame towards skill progression.
When your character has premium status, you automatically generate 20 LP every 24 hours and the LP flows in gradually over the course of the day rather than giving you all the 20 points at once.
But if you do not have a premium then you can earn 10 LP each day by completing the daily challenge events. Click the activities menu and then open Adventurer’s Challenge where you can earn challenge points by participating in PvE combat, fishing and farming. You also get a nice dose of challenge points for each arena victory.
Once you have earned 1200 challenge points, it will be automatically converted to 10 LP. If you have the premium status then unfortunately you cannot also earn the 10 LP points per day by completing the daily challenge.
Crafting Focus is used for all kinds of activities from watering vegetable and herb crops to boosting seed production.
Other activities that involve focus points are nurturing baby animals to boost the chances that they will have babies of their own when they grow up, increasing resource return when crafting and refining raw materials, and improving the chance of higher quality items when crafting and boosting the amount of fame earned while studying crafted items.
When you have premium status, you will automatically earn 10,000 focus points per day and they will trickle in gradually over the course of the day at the rate of 417 points per hour.
However, there is a cap on the amount of crafting focus that you can have which means that it’s not possible to have more than 30,000 focus points at a time.Once you reach this cap, it will stop trickling in until you use some of them to make room.
You can also use the focus restoration potion to instantly generate 10,000 crafting focus but these potions are extremely rare and can only be obtained via the weekly challenge reward chests.
Premium status is required to unlock these chests and these potions are not tradeable so you cannot buy them from the market but you can keep unused potions even if your premium status expires.
In addition to the learning points and crafting focus, there are a lot of other benefits to having premium status. For example, you get 50% more gathering yield and 50% more silver and loot from treasure chests.
You will also need to purchase premium status at least once if you wish to own a personal island. If you wish to purchase a premium status for your character then it will be applied to each individual character and not per account.
You can pay for it using silver or gold by clicking on the Crown icon at the top of the screen. The cost keeps fluctuating and if you buy more than one month at a time, you will be paying less cost per month.
That’s it, now go ahead and use these LP and crafting focus wisely in the game!
