Across the Obelisk is a cooperative deck-building rogue-lite with RPG mechanics that players can either play solo or with their friends. You will need to unlock cards, create your own deck and face powerful opponents during your adventure.
This guide will tell you how to find and defeat Belphyor in the game.
Belphyor – The Lord Of The Imps in Across The Obelisk
Belphyor is one of the boss enemies that can be found after you enter the Hatch in the Suspicious Hatch node on the map. Killing him will give you an item called Belphyor’s Horn that can be used to unlock Malukah or given to the Werewolf camp.

You will need to battle across all the nodes until you reach the Summoning Circle node on the map.

Here you will find some cultists performing a ritual to summon an Imp.
You need to select the [Combat] option to disrupt their ritual and gain an advantage by weakening Belphyor.

This is important as it will make fighting against him relatively easier by giving him a defective summon card in his deck.

Now it’s time to face the Lord of the Imps-Belphyor and fight against him.
Select the [Combat] option to attack him as he is already weakened.

You can see all the cards and stats for Belphyor that will help you find the best way to counter him during the fight.

As for the fight itself, it’s best to have those cards that dispel burn such as Healing Rain as they will give you an upper hand during the combat. You can also use cards with Insulate as they work great against Belphyor.
Belphyor has a very high fire resistance but ice and holy are the biggest weak points. He will always summon Imps during the fight so it’s important that you focus on him and try to kill him first to end the combat.

After you manage to defeat him, you will be rewarded with the Belphyor achievement while receiving 176 Shards, 4 XP and 1 crate as loot.
You will receive a quest item called Belphyor’s Horn that can be used to unlock Malukah or given to the Werewolf camps later in the game.

As far as item rewards are concerned, you will be able to get the Belphor’s Pipe and Searing Dagger which are really great starting weapons.
That’s it, you have successfully managed to defeat Belphyor in Across the Obelisk!
