7 Days to Die is an open-world sandbox where players need to use their survival skills and build settlements to last till the end. The game creates a save file as you progress further and it is stored in a folder on your computer. Locating your save file is as important as creating new settlements if you wish to backup, move or delete your save game files.

Save Game Location
In order to locate the save game file on Windows, head over to the following directory on your computer:
- C:\Users\Username\%AppData%\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves
Do note that you will need to enable the hidden folder options in Windows Explorer to ensure that the AppData folder is visible.
