How To Make Guns | Crafting Guide in 7 Days To Die
It is very important to find and learn the schematics to make any type of gun in the game.
To find schematics you need to go to the local book store which is usually located inside towns.
You can also find them in airdrop which every few days plain drops.
Finding your gun schematics is just the first step. All gun recipes only give you the ability to assemble a gun if you already have the parts for it. It will not allow you to make the gun parts themselves.
Now, finding gun parts is not easy, because all guns require four parts.
To find gun parts, you need to scavenge around the world and look for gun safes or you can find a gun store called Shotgun Messiah which can be found inside cities.
Inside the gun stores, you will find crates that you need to crack open and inside you will find various gun parts.
Every gun requires some form of barrel, parts, receiver, and stock to be assembled. The flashlight is optional.
Getting all these parts is a long process that can be speeded up with scavenging perks that grant higher percent chance of finding better loot.
Once you have found all the parts required to assemble a gun, just click on one of the gun parts and then in the crafting menu click the assemble button and the gun assembly UI will appear.
Place all the gun parts in their spots in the assemble UI and your gun is now complete.
There are a total of nine guns that are currently craftable in the game, and there are Pistol, Magnum, Shotgun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, Hunting Rifle, SMG, AK-47 Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, and Rocket Launcher. The same process of crafting applies to all these guns.
Assembly UI can be used to swat low-quality parts as well. If you found a better quality part for a particular gun, open the assembly UI for that gun and just swap the parts.
If you have found multiple parts that are the same model, you can use those parts in a workbench to combine them and make a better-quality one.
If you want to make bullets for a particular gun, you need to learn perk for that gun bullets in firearms perk three, and of course, you have to gather all the materials to craft it.
